Marriage License Requirements
Couples can get a marriage license for $10 at
the San Miguel County Clerk's office at the
Courthouse
(under the historic clock tower )
on Colorado Avenue, Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. -
4:30 p.m. You must
bring proof of age, and parent's
names and addresses. If divorced, bring the
date, court name and
location (city and state); if
widowed, the date and place. License must be
used in 30 days. No blood
test is required. There is no
waiting period. Expect to spend half an hour to

If your marriage is performed in Colorado, in
